The center of biotechnology earned a CAt renewal award to further develop biomedical innovations leading to new therapeutics, diagnositcs and biomedical devices. This is a 10 year, $10 million award.

Dr. Rubenstein, Dr. Yin and Dr. Frame have recently published the second edition of their Biofluid Mechanics Textbook. This book focuses on how fluid mechanics can be applied to blood circulation, air movement in the lungs among other speciality circulations.
